For the past five years birthdays have pretty much consisted of Casey, me and what children we have at time. But since we have moved back to Spokane thing have changed just a little. These boys got the royal treatment. They didn't get a boring birthday with just us they had two and kid of a third. The first was on Levi's birthday and we had a small party with family at the Doggett's house. We had cake and ice cream followed by present opening. I don't know if there are more spoiled kids out there than mine. Their grandparents, aunts and uncles give them more gifts than they know what to do with. On the 21st we had a get together at Rawley’s house with friends and family. There Brittany and Rawley put on a great party for everyone. We decided to take the trampoline we got the boys for their birthday. All the kids at the party were able to play on this and boy did they have a good time.
Then came Elliots birthday... What would any kid love to do on their birthday? Go boating? Yes, yes that is what we did. We were able to go boating with Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Randy. The boys had so much fun helping grandpa drive the boat and going swimming. We eat lunch on the boat follows by some cupcakes that Elliot picked out at he store. All in all it was a pretty great day!!! Unfortunately, Casey was out of town so we had to make a little video for Casey so he knew we missed him.
It's so wonderful being around family and friends longer than just one or two weeks at a time. It's also wonderful to be able to celebrate my kids birthday with people I love and care about! I really don’t know when it's going to sink in that we are staying here and not on vacation. But for now I'm just enjoying all this family fun!!!
